Product description

The pink lower side of the Alternanthera reeckii 'Pink' leaves provides an effective contrast with many green plants in the aquarium — especially when planted in groups. The stems reach a length of 25-50 cm. Good light encourages the leaves to turn red. It is easy to propagate by cutting the terminal bud and planting it in substrate. This also makes the mother plant denser, as more side shoots are formed. Alternanthera reeckii 'Pink' originated in South America. Plant information: Type: Stem Origin: South America Growth rate: Medium Height: 20 - 30+ Care: Medium Lighting: High Carbon dioxide: Medium Note: When ordered, the box contains 4 branches, each 3 to 5 cm long.
