Paracetamol, an aniline derivative that has analgesic and antipyretic properties. It inhibits the central COX-2 enzyme required for prostaglandin formation. Therefore, it prevents the formation of fever and pain. Uses: • Mild to moderate pain. • Fever. Additional information: • Check other brands and other medicines that may contain paracetamol to avoid overdose. • For children: Talk to the doctor if pain/fever continues for more than 48 hours after using paracetamol.
