Product name Skupinal, anti-spasmodic, and relieves gastrointestinal pain - 20 tablets. Scientific name Hyoscine 10 mg tablets. Skupinal tablets belong to anti-spasmodic medicines. How Hyoscine works: its anticholinergic effect is responsible for the antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles. It blocks receptors of the parasympathetic system in the gastrointestinal tract, which is the basis of its use in treating abdominal pain and cramps. Medical uses of Skupinal tablets: Hyoscine butyl bromide is used to treat stomach, intestinal, and bladder spasms (cramps). It can also be used to stop spasms and colic before radiography. How to use Skupinal tablets: This medication is intended for adults and children aged 6 years and above. Take it as your doctor indicated. Take with or without food. Swallow the tablets whole, do not break or chew. The usual dose for adults is 20 mg 3-4 times a day. The usual dose for children aged 6-12 years is 10 mg 3 times a day.
