Scientific name: eye moisturizing gel, belongs to eye moisturizers
Method of action: eye moisturizers, lubricating eye drops, work to hydrate the eye through multiple mechanisms including direct hydration and replacing some of the missing tear components. Also, it may reduce the effect of inflammatory substances.
Medical uses of High Fresh Eye Gel: used to relieve irritated dry eyes, common causes of dry eyes include wind, sun, heating / air conditioning, reading, continuous use of mobile phones or computers, and may result from some medications. It can also be used to treat dry eyes caused by contact lens use.
How to use High Fresh Eye Gel: Usually, eye products are sterile, so ensure the packaging is not damaged before use, and close the cap after taking your dose (if using a single-use unit, dispose of the used unit after use). Tilt your head back slightly and look upward. Pull down the lower eyelid with the other hand, turn the container upside down near your eye. Try not to touch your eye while doing this. Apply enough pressure to release the gel into your eye. Make sure the medicine enters your eye. Close your eye for a minute or two, gently press on the side of your nose, which prevents the loss of eye drops and keeps the medicine in place.
The recommended dose is once or twice in the affected eye(s) as needed. A higher dose may be prescribed in cases of severe dryness. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure how to use this medicine. Dose adjustments may be made in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to the hospital immediately. If you forget to take the dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it’s time for the next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the missed one.
Side effects of High Fresh Eye Gel: Although the following side effects are not common to everyone, some patients may complain of: blurred vision, mild irritation or burning in the eye.
Using High Fresh Eye Gel during pregnancy and breastfeeding: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, believe you might be pregnant, or planning to have a child, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Your doctor will discuss the potential risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Helpful tips to reduce eye dryness: Repeated reading, watching TV, and using computers and mobile phones can lead to dry eyes, so it’s important to rest your eyes from time to time. If you wear contact lenses, it is sometimes advised to reduce wearing hours. Also, ensure they are changed on time (know the type of lens whether for single use or for a specific period). Avoid direct exposure to the sun and wear sunglasses. Ensure proper hydration and drink plenty of water. Remove eye makeup using Cystan Wipes. Some studies suggest that omega-3 supplements, such as OmegaCaps, may help prevent dry eyes. Lubricating eye drops, like Cystan Drops, may have significant benefits.
