Xylometazoline nasal spray contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride, which helps open and clear the nasal passages by reducing excess nasal secretions and returning swollen blood vessels to their normal size. Side effects: The following side effects have been reported: burning in the nose and throat, local irritation, nausea, headache, dryness of the nasal mucosa, temporary and transient visual disturbances, allergic reactions. Cardiovascular effects, such as palpitations, may also occur, especially if you have heart problems.
