Pictures of the lives of the Tabi'in (1-6 in one volume), depicting realistic bright images from the lives of a group of the Tabi'in who lived close to the era of the Prophetship, and who studied under the hands of the first Muhammadan school men… So they are a picture of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the firmness of faith, and in transcending the worldly display. And in devotion to pleasing Allah… And they were a strong influential link between the generation of the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and the generation of the imams of the schools of thought and those who came after them. And the scholars of hadith divided them into classes, the first of whom was those who followed the ten who were given the glad tidings of Paradise, and the last of whom was those who met the young companions or whose deaths were delayed.
