A plant "friendly to butterflies," where its beautiful red flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds throughout the year, and it is an evergreen shrub that is very easy to care for and adds a wonderful tropical touch to the garden. Lighting: Needs direct and strong sunlight (at least 6 hours daily); sunlight is the secret to the density of its bright red flowers, and although it tolerates partial shade, its flowering decreases. Watering: Moderate; water it when the surface of the soil clearly dries out. It is a patient plant and tolerates drought after settling, but it hates "flooding" the soil with water because it causes root rot. Temperature: Loves warm and hot environments (20°C - 38°C) and tolerates high summer heat, but is very sensitive to frost and severe cold that may cause it to shed its leaves. Plant height: 180 cm
