Product description

Dawa Aid Compression Bandage 8 cm

An elastic bandage used to apply pressure to a specific area of the body. It comes in the form of a roll with elastic clips used to hold the bandage in place once it is wrapped around the injury.

Size

  • 8 cm

Uses:

  • To help reduce swelling of the affected area of the body.
  • To hold wound dressings in place.
  • Wrap a splint around your arm or leg while it heals.
  • Improve blood flow to an extremity such as an arm or leg.
  • To hold cold or hot compresses in place on a part of the body, such as the arm.

When applying an elastic bandage, start at the injury and work your way around the affected area. For example, if you have a knee injury, start below the knee and then wrap the bandage around and above the knee. This helps better control swelling.

advice   For safety   And comfort:

  • Be careful not to wrap the bandage too tightly as it may cut off blood flow.
  • To help blood flow, remove the bandage 2 times a day (after consulting your doctor), leave it for a few minutes and rewrap it.
  • If you feel numbness or tingling at the bandage site, remove it, gently massage the area, and then reapply the bandage when you feel better.
  • If the bandage becomes cold or turns blue, remove it and contact a doctor.
  • Wash the bandage when it gets dirty and preferably have another bandage for your use.

when   Call   By the doctor:

  • You have pain, cramping, or redness where the bandage was wrapped.
  • You have tingling or numbness that does not go away after the bandage is removed.
  • The skin around the bandage is pale blue and feels cold.
  • There is a red light in the coil attachment area.
