Product description: Mometasone is a corticosteroid that mediates anti-inflammatory actions. Momethasone works by reducing inflammatory responses associated with asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and corticosteroid-responsive skin diseases. It prevents the action of inflammatory cells, such as mast cells, eosinophils, basophils, lymphocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. Therapeutic indications of Avalon Avocum 0.05% nasal spray: It is sprayed into the nose to help relieve symptoms that may occur with hay fever or other allergies throughout the year, including nasal congestion, secretions, itching, and sneezing. Your doctor may also prescribe this medication to help prevent these symptoms two to four weeks before the pollen season begins. Method of administration of Avalon - Avocum 0.05% nasal spray: Always ensure you take this medication exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Before using this medication for the first time, read the instructions on how to use it and follow them carefully. Ask the pharmacist if you are unsure. Dosages depend on your medical condition. Doses may be adjusted in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions. Keep this medication out of sight and reach of children. Store in the original container to protect it from moisture. Do not use this medication after the expiration date printed on the box/blister/label. The expiration date refers to the last day of the month.
