8HP90 Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve

Fits 2012+ Dodge Charger, 2015+ Dodge Challenger, 2013+ Chrysler 300 equipped with ZF 8-Speed Transmission, as well as Charger, Challenger, and TRX 6.2L V8 models equipped with the 8HP90 transmission.

The OEM valve features restrictive internal passages. If the factory valve fails in the closed position, transmission fluid will no longer reach the transmission cooler. This can occur due to mechanical failure or debris contamination.

Failure of the factory valve may cause the transmission to overheat. Without properly cooled transmission fluid, hard launches and demanding stop-and-go driving conditions can significantly reduce the lifespan of transmission components.
