The aromatic line: leather, the smell of cold water splattered on hot chalk, that is the vision of the French-Tunisian designer Azeddine Alaya and his concept for his first perfume. It is a revival of his childhood memories of water splattered outside on a very hot wall, humidity, and the interaction between cold and hot when they meet. This vision shows the uniqueness of this designer's creativity. After many preconceived expectations, here is the first perfume from Azeddine Alaya in our hands. The perfume combines the artistic brilliance of young perfumer Marie Salamani and the unique design of the bottle by furniture designer Martin Szykli, embodying the creativity and greatness that Azeddine Alaya is known for. Instead of the perfume originating from a constrained market space, it came as the fruit of genuine love and the result of many long discussions around a dining table, where ideas and thoughts were exchanged with Alaya's team. However, Marie Salamani was the one who led the ship in creating this beautiful perfume. Alaya evaluated his creative team's production, while his photographer Paolo Roverci and his creative partners were part of this process.
