Supports Mic Mini wireless digital connection at 2.4 GHz frequency and Bluetooth technology, allowing the transmitter to connect to the DJI Mimo app via iOS and Android devices, and can also connect directly to Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 4, and Osmo Action 5 Pro cameras. Settings such as noise cancellation and volume reduction can be adjusted through the app. The receiver unit features 3.5mm TRS and USB-C ports for connection to a wide range of devices. It also includes a 3.5mm TRS cable for camera connection and power synchronization between the receiver and the camera. When connected to your mobile device via USB-C, the receiver and phone can be charged simultaneously, and recorded clips can be reviewed using external playback. Wireless drone recording Mic Mini can be used wirelessly with DJI Neo drone via the DJI Fly app. Once connected via Bluetooth and the app is opened, audio is recorded with fan noise reduction, and the recorded audio is automatically merged with the video. Portable and wearable microphones For a complete wireless experience, the transmitter can be clipped onto clothing using the built-in back clip without the need for wires. Other mounting options include magnetic attachment and neck strap using available accessories separately. The transmitter weighs only 0.4 ounces, so it does not add weight to the collar or cause unwanted slipping during filming. The built-in microphone uses a multi-directional pickup pattern to ensure clear and consistent speech recording even if the microphone placement is not ideal. Furry windshields are provided to reduce wind noise while maintaining sound clarity. Smart control and settings Volume levels for noise cancellation can be controlled via the transmitter: Basic level is suitable for quiet indoor environments, reducing fan and air conditioning noise while maintaining sound clarity. Strong level is ideal for noisy environments, reducing ambient noise to improve audio clarity. Automatic volume limiting feature reduces input volume to prevent distortion and ensure reliable sound quality without manual adjustment. Five gain levels can be quickly adjusted using the knob on the receiver. A backup track recording is available when interference is expected, recording a second track 6 dB lower to ensure usable audio in fluctuating environments. Extended battery life Built-in batteries in the transmitter and receiver provide 11.5 hours and 10.5 hours of operation respectively. A 5-minute charge provides an additional hour of use when batteries are depleted using the included charging station. Auto power-off can be enabled via the DJI Mimo app, where devices automatically turn off after 15 minutes if not connected, to preserve battery life.
