Product description

Ring Endodontic Ruler is a ring-shaped measuring instrument used during endodontic treatment. It helps the dentist measure and determine the length of instruments and materials used during root canal procedures. It is particularly useful for setting the working length of instruments such as K-Files and Reamers, as well as measuring Gutta-Percha cones before root canal obturation. It helps the dentist obtain accurate and consistent measurements during cleaning, shaping, and obturation of the root canal.

How to Use:

The dentist first gains access to the root canal and uses an apex locator and/or radiographs to determine the appropriate working length. Once the working length has been established, the K-File is inserted into the canal to the determined length, and the rubber stop is positioned on the file at the required measurement. The dentist can then use the Ring Endodontic Ruler to verify that the distance between the file tip and the rubber stop corresponds to the established working length.

The ruler can also be used to measure Gutta-Percha cones. The dentist places the Gutta-Percha cone against the ruler, determines the required length, and adjusts the cone before inserting it into the canal. This helps ensure that the cone reaches the appropriate working length without extending beyond the root apex.

During root canal treatment, the dentist benefits from the ruler by standardizing instrument measurements, setting rubber stops, checking the length of K-Files and Reamers, and measuring Gutta-Percha cones. This makes the procedure more accurate and organized and helps reduce length-related errors during root canal treatment.
