Product description

Overview

  • The Forte Safety N6301 is a palm coated work glove built on a seamless 13-gauge polyester knit shell, finished in grey with a black nitrile micro foam coating on the palm and fingertips. The seamless knit follows the shape of the hand, giving comfort, finger dexterity and breathability throughout the shift, while the micro foam nitrile coating lets the palm breathe and delivers excellent grip in dry, moist and light oily working conditions. The back of the hand is left as open knit for ventilation, and an elastic knit wrist cuff keeps the glove secure and helps keep dirt out. The glove is certified to EN 388:2016 with performance 4121X, including abrasion resistance at level 4, and to EN 407:2020 at X1XXXX for contact heat, and carries the CE mark. It is offered in sizes 8, 9 and 10 and packed 120 pairs per carton, which suits crew and project supply. Available through Al-Najma Al-Wataniyah with guaranteed quality and fast delivery across Riyadh, Dammam, and all KSA regions.

Documentation & Standards

  • The Forte Safety N6301 is certified to EN 388:2016 for protection against mechanical risks with the performance code 4121X: abrasion resistance level 4, blade cut resistance level 1, tear resistance level 2 and puncture resistance level 1. In practice, level 4 abrasion means the palm coating stands up well to rubbing against rough materials such as cartons, blocks and timber. The glove is also certified to EN 407:2020 at X1XXXX, which gives contact heat protection at level 1 for briefly handling warm parts. The CE mark confirms conformity with the European PPE requirements, giving HSE teams a clear and recognised basis for specifying the glove.
  • Additional reference standards for the Saudi market
  • EN 388:2016 — Protective gloves against mechanical risks (abrasion, cut, tear, puncture); the certified standard for this glove.
  • EN 407:2020 — Protective gloves against thermal risks (heat and/or fire); the certified thermal standard for this glove.
  • EN ISO 21420:2020 — General requirements for protective gloves (sizing, comfort, marking and user information).
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/425 — The European PPE regulation behind the CE marking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Are the Forte Safety N6301 gloves cut-resistant?

  • The N6301 carries EN 388:2016 cut level 1 (coupe test), alongside abrasion level 4. It is designed for general handling, grip and abrasion tasks. For work with sharp sheet metal, glass or blades, choose a glove with a higher cut rating.

Q2: Can I use these gloves with oils or chemicals?

  • The micro foam nitrile palm gives excellent grip in dry, moist and light oily conditions, making it a good choice for handling lightly oiled parts. The N6301 is certified for mechanical (EN 388) and thermal (EN 407) risks; for chemical handling, choose a glove certified to EN ISO 374.

Q3: What does the EN 407 rating X1XXXX mean?

  • The "1" is contact heat level 1, suitable for briefly handling warm objects. The "X" positions are not part of this glove's rating, so it is not intended for flame, welding, radiant heat or molten metal work.

Q4: Is the whole glove coated?

  • No. The coating covers the palm and fingertips, where grip and wear matter most, while the back of the hand stays as open knit to let air through and keep hands cooler in hot conditions.

Q5: Do you deliver across Saudi Arabia?

  • Yes. Al-Najma Al-Wataniyah delivers to Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Jubail, Yanbu and all regions of the Kingdom, with project supply for contractors and companies.
