Overview
- The PERF XPRSS-P is a safety helmet with an innovative button-operated adjustment system trademarked as XPRSS-P™ with a pending patent, enabling extremely fast single-hand adjustment: as soon as the terminal is pulled, it automatically forms a ratchet that instantly self-locks at the required head circumference and tightness. The outer shell is made of ANSI and CE certified HDPE, within the high-performance tier of the EN397 standard, with excellent shock absorption and light weight. It features universal slots on both sides for mounting additional accessories such as ear defenders or welding masks, in addition to chin strap fastening points and dedicated branding areas on the sides or front. Available in vented and non-vented versions, and in five different colors. The internal suspension system relies on 8 support points for maximum comfort and better shock absorption, with 25mm-wide nylon webbing, and a highly absorbent sweatband with embedded foam. The adjustment system features a high-impact-resistant polycarbonate housing, and angled headband terminals designed for a perfect fit, within a wide adjustment range from 52 to 64cm head circumference. The helmet carries two patented technologies: Y-Shield™ shock absorption technology, and Real-3D™ continuous head circumference adjustment technology. Additional test data stated in the sheet: withstands temperatures down to -20°C, and an artificial ageing test confirming an operational durability of up to 5 years, plus additional tests for accessories and spare parts per original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
