Product description

The pen is made of black and white resin in reference to the colors of the flags that were raised above the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, depending on the type to be played (black for tragedy and white for comedy). The body of the pen with a guilloche engraving refers to the quills used by Shakespeare to write his works, and the ring of the clip represents the earring worn by Shakespeare, and the hat shows an aerial view of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The gold strip on the pen bears engraved symbols of its seven most famous pieces: Hamlet's skull, chess pieces for King Lear, a rose and a dagger for Romeo and Juliet, a badge for Henry V, a laurel wreath for Macbeth, a swirling cloud for The Tempest, and a laurel wreath in the shape of "C" for Julius Caesar.
