Institute - Stephen King

Deep in the woods of Maine, there is a dark government facility where boys kidnapped from all over the United States are imprisoned. At the Institute, they undergo a series of tests and procedures aimed at merging their extraordinary talents - telepathy and telekinesis - in order to generate center effect. Luke Ellis is the Institute's newest recruit, just a 12-year-old kid, except that he's not only smart, but very smart. And he has another talent that the Institute wants to exploit in the Institute's playground and its miserable corridors, where posters announce that it is "just another day in heaven." Luke, his girlfriend Kalisha, and the rest of the boys have no doubt that they are prisoners, not guests, and there is no hope of escape.
