Nazla Dar Al-Akaber - Amira Ghoneim

The novel "Nazilat Dar al-Akaber" narrates important chapters of the secret contemporary history of Tunisia through an imaginary tale whose hero is the great terminator Taher El-Haddad. Although the historical references do not mention anything about Al-Haddad's relationship with women except for his desperate defense of them, the author of the novel asserts with the power of imagination that he loved "Lalla Zubaydah", and gives women the loudest voice to narrate the events, as they are the keepers of true memory and expose miserable masculinity.
