Quaresma decoder - Fernando Pessoa

In the short novels included in this book, the reader discovers another facet of Pessoa: a writer who composes with ease in the genre of detective literature as well as his baroque and avant-garde texts. He also discovers a unique personality: Quaresma, the so-called decoder, an extraordinary detective, who lives in the city of Lisbon, alone with his abstract ideas, smokes cigarettes and contemplates the oddities of this world, and feels, like the writer, more comfortable in language than in reality. What a strange way Quareshma follows his investigations!
