While the World Sleeps - Suzanne Abulhawa

In 1948, the lives of the Abu al-Hayja family were forever upended when they were forcibly displaced from their ancestral home in Ain Hawd and took refuge in refugee camps in the city of Jenin. We live the story of Amal, the granddaughter of the sheikh of the smart family, and her two sisters: one of them was kidnapped and then became an Israeli soldier, and the other was consecrated alive.
