Returning to the hero of the memoirs of a student, "Greg Heffley", who keeps writing his memoirs in his own diary that he is very careful about, as he is the repository of his secrets. His adventures are in class, with friends, at the family home, and even in the pool, so his friends nicknamed him "The Hacker" and one of them even made a headband for hackers and put it on his head, but, hey, what did Greg do to earn that nickname? Greg doesn't like to talk about it at all, especially since the new school year has begun, and our friend was anxious to leave the last three months behind him... especially one particular incident, but, unfortunately for Greg, his journal finally fell into the hands of his older brother, Roderick, by chance. Disaster, Roderick knew everything about the swimming pool incident that Greg wanted to keep secret, but secrets always find their way out..especially when there are diaries.
