Specialty Coffee Filter | V60 Coffee Filter - Medium Size

Specialty coffee filters

A coffee filter is the filter used in brewing specialty coffee and usually comes in several forms, such as stone, plastic, or metal for repeated use. Specialty coffee filter paper is made from tree bark, and Japan is famous for its excellence in manufacturing this type of filter. However, some have noticed that brown filters made from tree bark are heavy for filtration, so paper filters are bleached with chemicals or naturally with oxygen to thin the paper filter and ensure a faster filtration process. But brown filters remain more environmentally friendly and healthier because they are not bleached with any chemicals.
