Other books by: Mustafa Mahmoud Author's note "I have lived my whole life as a coward, afraid of death because it is painful.. but death does not hurt.. death does not hurt, my brothers, and it is shame that hurts." Mustafa Mahmoud's books; a play with many political projections and repeated historical scenes throughout time, embodied in the search of peoples for freedom and the desperate attempts of rulers to kill that desire, but the hero Guma dies and his idea does not die; believing that Guma will be reborn in every era to ignite the spark of revolution against injustice in the hearts of all weak and defeated peoples. Quotes: "The cheapest way to eliminate revolutionaries is to turn them into employees." "There is always hope for those who fight.. but those who surrender have no hope." "And is chivalry nothing but poetry?! If the knight loses his poet's heart, only the butcher, the slaughterer, and the killer remain.. and we are not killers! We are lovers who loved our country to the point of death."
