Product description: Ficus Nitida tree, scientific name Ficus Nitida, a perennial evergreen tree whose cultivation is widespread in the Kingdom as it tolerates heat and drought. It is planted inside the house in the hall or in the outdoor garden. General information: - Height: stops at 2 meters in the sky, with a shade diameter of about 1 meter - Watering: in summer, it is watered twice daily (a heavy watering early in the morning and another an hour before sunset), while in autumn, spring, and winter, watering can be once every day or every two days depending on the weather. If placed inside the house as an indoor tree, watering is every two days throughout the year with no more than 1 liter. - Sunlight: needs 8 hours or more per day for growth; it does not need sunlight if placed inside the house, but its growth will be 2cm per year. - Tolerance: tolerates salinity up to 5000 parts per million, heat up to 45 degrees, and cold down to -3 degrees Celsius. - Roots: mainly planted in home gardens and in streets and walkways as a fence or decorative shrubs. - Greenery: the tree is evergreen. - Flowering: does not flower. - Fertilizer: every winter, apply treated cow manure at 1 kg per year of age in December. For example, if it is 5 years old, apply 5 kg of cow manure and mix it with the pot soil. Monthly throughout the year, sprinkle fertilizer granules (DAB) on the soil surface at 20 grams for the first four years of its age, after which no mineral fertilizers are needed. If inside the house (in the hall), fertilizer is applied weekly throughout the year, half a teaspoon of NPK 20-20-20 in 1 liter of water, which is used to water the tree. - Distance: plant each tree at least 2 meters apart, and keep it at least 40 cm away from the wall. - Pot: grows in containers with a height of no less than 35 cm and a width of no less than 28 cm. On the ground, its pot size is at least 40 by 40 cm. - Soil: tolerates all soil types, preferably sandy loam mixed with a little cow manure. - Pruning: the tree does not require pruning, but it can be pruned in winter and spring into any shape desired. It is easy to shape into aesthetic forms or a wall fence in the garden, planting each seedling every half meter to form a fence later. - Growth: relatively slow. - Pests: rarely affected by insects and fungi; if affected, spray with acaricide (Acarosi) at 2 ml per 1 liter of water using a spray pump. - Planting time: can be planted any month of the year except during very hot months (June and July).
