It is the second publication for the author residing in Saudi Arabia after her book "The Woman is a Second-Class Human." The novel addresses the society in which she lives (Saudi, Eritrean community, and Burmese — referring to Burma) through the perspective of women's conversations and venting sessions in coffee gatherings. This is based on the magical effect of coffee that encourages women to confide and speak. Hanaa, the main character in the novel, who works as a social supervisor at a girls' care home in Mecca, tracks the cases of girls in that society to narrate the stories of these women in five chapters; their tears and smiles blending with the flavor of coffee.
