Guardians of intentions

Author: Fadil Ahmed Al-Omani Number of pages: 176 pages Publisher: Al-Fikr Al-Arabi In this difficult phase... that is sweeping the Arab world... we are in urgent need of the true intellectual... We are tired of the intellectuals who constantly practice confrontation and hostility... and we have also lost trust in those intellectuals who have transformed from guardians of the word into guard dogs! Guardians of intentions is a collection of articles in which the writer recorded some of his thoughts, opinions, convictions, beliefs, and details and secrets specific to Saudi society. He critically addressed some of society's sensitive taboos and many hot issues and files. We may agree with some of them and also disagree, especially since he has touched on topics that many readers believe are private to Saudi society and should not be subject to critique, so as not to be accused of trying to Westernize society or attempt to free it from its religion, values, and constants.
