Product description

With the emergence and spread of the internet and modern communication means, cybercrimes have arisen, representing a danger to countries and societies; because they affect humans in their thoughts and private lives, and affect institutions in their economy, and the country in its national, political, and economic security. And in order to confront these crimes, many countries have been keen to develop their legislative control systems by introducing penal and procedural legislative texts that align with the modern phenomenon of technical crime, and they did not stop at that, but also enacted special independent legislations related to this matter. And these legislative steps are truly a sincere reflection of the depth of the technical problem and unlawful practices of information technology means, which pose a real threat to the national security of countries and to rights deserving legal protection. I have taken into account in this book to be comprehensive of the substantive and procedural aspects of cybercrimes; to benefit students of knowledge, researchers, and judicial officials; so I talked about the nature of cybercrime and its characteristics, the traits of the cybercriminal and his motives, the types of cybercrimes, and I discussed combating cybercrimes in all Western and Arab legislations, especially the Egyptian and Saudi criminal systems. I also discussed how to investigate cybercrimes and their procedures, and the obstacles faced by investigators in these crimes. I pray to Allah that what I intended is achieved, and I ask Him for success; He is the best disposer of affairs and the best supporter. Author
