Directions for Use

  • Check the engine oil and fuel level before starting, then set the right cutting height before you begin. Start the engine, engage the self-propelled drive and move in regular passes with a slight overlap between each pass to avoid leaving uncut strips. Choose the right way to handle clippings – collecting in the bag, discharging, or using the mulching function.

Precautions

  • Check the engine oil level before starting and follow Briggs & Stratton instructions for oil, fuel and maintenance.
  • Do not adjust the cutting height or go near the blade while the engine is running.
  • Stop the engine and wait for the blade to stop completely before cleaning or removing built-up grass.
  • Avoid mowing very wet grass for a better result and less grass build-up under the deck.
  • Clean the underside of the deck and the grass bag after use, and service the engine and blade regularly according to the operating manual.

Orkida Tip

  • For a healthy lawn and an even look, avoid cutting a large part of the grass height in one go; start at a suitable height and lower it gradually when needed. On large areas, make use of the self-propelled drive and 53 cm cutting width to work in long, regular passes, and use mulching when you want to shred clippings and return them to the lawn instead of collecting them.
