Deltaron 50 EC is an insect growth regulator containing lufenuron 5% from the benzoylurea group. It inhibits the formation of chitin, which insects need to moult, so larvae die and cannot develop into the next stages. It is effective against many insect pests such as stem borers, cotton leafworm, Tuta absoluta, whitefly and leaf miners, giving effective protection to vegetables, potatoes and citrus.

Directions for Use

• Vegetables (tomato, cucumber, pepper, eggplant): 80–100 ml per 100 L of water against stem borers and Tuta absoluta.
• Potatoes: 40–50 ml per 100 L of water against potato tuber moth and leaf miners.
• Citrus: 40–50 ml per 100 L of water against scale insect crawlers and citrus flower moth.
• Start spraying at the first signs of infestation. The product does not act directly on adult insects; it stops larval development.

Pre-Harvest Interval and Re-entry

• Pre-harvest interval: 7 days for vegetables and potatoes; 14 days for citrus.
• Re-entry interval: 12 hours, wearing protective clothing.

Precautions

• Wear gloves, a mask and protective clothing during mixing and spraying.
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product.
• Avoid spraying near water sources.
• Store in the original container away from children, food and animal feed.
