Directions for Use:

• Apply small spots of gel where cockroaches appear.
• Apply 1 to 3 spots of Optigard Gel per 1 m², increasing the number of spots according to infestation level and the cockroach species targeted. Each spot weighs approximately 0.5 g.

How the Active Ingredient in Optigard® Gel Works:

• Emamectin benzoate stimulates the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the insect, leading to paralysis and death.
• Cockroaches are drawn to the highly palatable bait, which delivers a lethal dose of emamectin benzoate when eaten. Cockroaches that feed on the bait return to their harborage, where the active ingredient can be transferred to other cockroaches, including nymphs that do not actively forage, so far more cockroaches are controlled than those that originally fed on the bait.
