Product description
Klora 6.3% SC is an insecticide and acaricide combining chlorantraniliprole 4.5% and abamectin 1.8% to control a range of pests attacking the leaves and fruits of vegetables, potatoes and pome fruits. Its formulation targets caterpillars, spider mites and leaf miners through a combined effect on the pest's muscle and nerve functions, causing it to stop moving and feeding, then die. The product's ability to penetrate leaf tissue also helps it reach pests sheltered from direct spray. Klora is especially useful in mixed infestations where more than one pest is present on the crop, and gives its best results when applied early, before the infestation builds up and damage to leaves and fruits increases.
Key Features:
- Chlorantraniliprole acts on ryanodine receptors in larval muscles, causing feeding to stop, paralysis and death.
- Abamectin acts on the pest's nervous and muscular system, giving strong activity against spider mites and target caterpillars.
- The fast action of chlorantraniliprole stops caterpillar feeding early and limits further chewing damage to leaves and fruits.
- Abamectin penetrates the leaf blade (translaminar), helping it reach pests in areas protected from direct spray.
- The combination controls lepidopteran caterpillars, spider mites and leaf miners within the registered uses.
- Both active ingredients work by contact and ingestion, increasing the pest's exposure as it moves or feeds on treated parts.

- Cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli: 14 days.
- Potato: 14 days.
- Apple and pear: 14 days.
Precautions:
- Start treatment when infestation appears and target young larvae before they enter the fruit or cause more damage to the foliage.
- For spider mites, direct enough spray to the underside of the leaves, where infestations usually concentrate.
- Keep to the set dose per area and adjust spray volume to crop density without increasing the product rate.
- Avoid repeated consecutive use of the same product through the season; rotate with products of different modes of action to manage resistance.
- Do not spray in strong wind or conditions that cause drift, and protect water sources from contamination.
- Wear suitable protective equipment during mixing and spraying, and follow the re-entry interval and safety instructions on the pack.
Orkida Tip: With Klora, good coverage matters more than higher concentration. For spider mites, set the nozzles to reach the underside of the leaves; for leaf miners, focus on new growth and young leaves; for fruitworms, target the larvae while they are small, before they enter the fruit. In dense canopies, increase spray water volume to improve coverage, not the product dose per area. For advice, contact Orkida on WhatsApp 0563033126.
