Product description

Felix the Cat is an animal cartoon character created during the silent film era.

Felix the Cat was the first animated character to capture the imagination of traditional film audiences due to his popularity.

In the late 1920s, with the advent of sound animation, Felix the Cat's star began to fade.

But around 1929 Pat finally decided to enter the market and distribute Felix the Cat sound-and-picture cartoons through Clubby Pictures.

Felix the Cat cartoons began airing on American television in 1953. Joe Ariello introduced the cat character after he was redesigned and given "two-legged-long" features and new abilities, in addition to the character having a "magic basket full of tricks" that allows Felix to make any shape he wants.

This character has appeared in TV shows and two other movies as well. By 2010, this cat had become a star and was seen in many children's toys, fashion, and more.

In 2002, TV Guide magazine ranked Felix the Cat No. 28 on its list of "The 50 Greatest Cartoon Characters of All Time." The rights to the character were purchased by DreamWorks Animation Studios in 2014.
