Product description
This coffee was carefully cultivated by "Filipe Arceila" on his farm in the Maracay region of Colombia. It was subjected to a dry, anaerobic fermentation process that lasted up to 72 hours while maintaining the mucilaginous layer surrounding the coffee beans. During this important process, dried coconut was added. Afterwards, the pulp was removed, and the harvest was placed on raised drying beds to achieve the best possible moisture level. The harvest belongs to the pure "Castillo" variety, a variety that required significant effort and time to grow and develop by the "National Coffee Growers Federation" in Colombia. It is distinguished by being more productive compared to the "Caturra" variety and resistant to diseases such as coffee leaf rust, which is one of the most dangerous diseases threatening the coffee industry worldwide. This coffee emits clear and distinctive hints: a touch of coconut, chocolate sweetness, and a refreshing hint of vanilla, making each sip resemble a melting piece of bonbon chocolate.
