This crop comes from the green mountain terraces of Yemen, which reach an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level, where the village of Huwar in the district of Al-Qafr, with its rich history, is known for producing coffee beans, relying on rainwater for irrigation as is customary for Yemeni farmers. The crop descends from the Tبيبكا strain of several types; Jaddi, Tuffahi, and Al-Adini. The crop is characterized by complex and unusual properties and hints; its aroma is sweet, leaning towards caramel, berries, and spices, especially cinnamon and dried fig.
