Grape seed polyphenol extract

Liquid grape seed extract standardized for Proanthocyanidins (12%), a class of polyphenols found in a variety of plants. Known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for protection against misuse of elements and irritants. For cosmetic applications, it is perfect for soothing, balancing, and anti-irritant products as well as for intensely moisturizing products with invigorating effects that help reduce the appearance of signs of aging. Of plant origin, Propanediol is a biodegradable, petrochemical-free solvent approved by NPA, making it an excellent sugar-derived alternative to petroleum glycol for hair and skin care formulations. It offers benefits and functions including improved moisturization, enhanced viscosity, non-irritating properties, exceptional sensory characteristics, clarity, and antibacterial and antifungal properties, among many others. The distinctive color of this plant extract colors natural and organic cosmetic formulations with its natural hue. This means that product colors previously only achievable through the use of synthetic ingredients, which are often undesirable, can now be obtained through plant-based ingredients that not only provide their beneficial and skin-healthy properties but also their individual natural colors. It is highly recommended to conduct small batch tests to determine the required dosage to achieve the desired shade saturated with the extract. The original color of the liquid grape seed extract — standard — is dark red to dark brown; however, this color may change depending on the formulation to which it is added.
