Enrofloxacin, and a chemical treatment agent belonging to derivatives of carboxylic acid fluoroquinolone. It is absorbed quickly and almost completely from the gastrointestinal tract, and reaches peak plasma concentration within approximately half an hour to two hours. Enrofloxacin does not show cross-resistance with other antimicrobials such as beta-lactams, tetracyclines, macrolides, sulfonamides, and trimethoprim. Indications: Spectreel Forte is used to treat all common gram-negative bacterial infections in poultry, such as Escherichia coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Klebsiella, and with gram-positive bacteria like Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corynebacteria, Clostridia, Listeria, and types of Mycoplasma such as M. gallisepticum, M. synoviae, and M. meleagridis.
