What is Synulox? Synulox is a prescription-only medication, prescribed by veterinary surgeons to treat a variety of bacterial infections in both dogs and cats. It has been proven effective in treating conditions such as soft tissue infections, skin diseases, gum infections, urinary tract infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, and enteritis, which is inflammation of the lower intestines. For cases including skin infections and urinary tract infections, the dose is 0.25 mL of the solution per 1 kg of the animal's body weight twice daily. For stubborn cases that are difficult to treat, especially respiratory cases, there is evidence that doubling the dose to 0.5 mL of the solution twice daily is more effective. Synulox Palatable Drops can also be safely used in pregnant and lactating animals.
