Product description
The author, may Allah have mercy on him, discussed in this book the news of the Day of Resurrection and its terrors. He began with seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave, and what occurs there from questioning and reckoning. He mentioned what the servant encounters at the time of death, whether a believer or a disbeliever, and how the soul exits the body. He elaborated on the description of the Bridge, its attributes, its darkness, its pitfalls, and its hooks, as well as the state and appearance of the people of Al-Araf. He explained how their affairs will end, and discussed intercession and the circling of creation around the prophets, seeking their intercession at the start of reckoning. Then he detailed the description of Paradise, the blessings of its inhabitants, and what they will find of various delights—things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever imagined. We ask Allah, the Generous, to make us among its people.
He then moved on to describe the people of Hell and what they will face of torment and punishment, and what Allah, the Most High, has prepared for His enemies, the disbelievers and hypocrites. We ask Allah, the Merciful, to save us from it.
Afterward, he transitioned to other gatherings that are not beyond admonition, encouragement, and warning, such as mentioning the prayer upon the Prophet and its virtues, gatherings on the virtue of fasting, its manners, and prohibitions, and others about wine, its prohibition, the wisdom behind forbidding it, and the punishment prepared by Allah for the drinker of wine if he does not repent.
