Introduction of His Excellency Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows:
Indeed, the interpretation of our Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Nasir Al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, called "Taysir Al-Kareem Ar-Rahman" in the interpretation of the words (Al-Mannan), is one of the best interpretations because it has many features: among them, ease of expression and clarity, so that it is understood by the rooted in knowledge and those less knowledgeable.
Among them, avoiding unnecessary filler and lengthy explanations that only waste the reader’s time and confuse his mind.
Among them, avoiding mentioning disagreements unless the disagreement is strong and there is a need to mention it. This is an important feature for the reader so that his understanding remains fixed on one thing.
Among them, following the methodology of the Salaf in the verses of attributes, so there is no distortion or interpretation that contradicts Allah’s intended meaning with His words. It is a mainstay in establishing the creed.
Among them, precise deduction regarding the benefits, rulings, and wisdom that the verses indicate, which is clearly evident in some verses, such as the verse of ablution in Surah Al-Ma'idah, from which fifty rulings were deduced, and as in the story of David and Solomon in Surah Sad.
Among them, it is a book of interpretation and moral upbringing, as is evident in the interpretation of Allah’s saying in Surah Al-A'raf: "Take forgiveness and enjoin good and turn away from the ignorant."
For this reason, I advise every seeker of the books of Tafsir not to be without this valuable interpretation in his library.
And I ask Allah to benefit from its author and its reader. Indeed, He is generous and noble.
And may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and those who follow them with goodness.
