And the Prophet realized the year of change in life, so he encouraged his companions to exert effort; to know the ruling on new incidents that renew with life, and the companions followed the approach outlined by their Messenger, and they were the most deserving of following his method and emulating his biography. They had many efforts in various aspects of life, and their approach was that they interacted with issues that required extracting a ruling, whether these issues were in politics, judiciary, worship, transactions, or personal status. This opened the door for subsequent scholars to exert effort, and scholars continued on that until eras ended, their opinions were documented, and working with them became widespread. Then some scholars saw that these schools of thought were sufficient, and that a Muslim should adhere to one of them, and that there are no more exerters after the imams of the schools. This prompts the researcher to consider this issue.
