Moroccan wide belt

The belt (the Madda) a luxurious dark metal belt in the color of jet black gives an impression of heritage and strength. It features connected metal units decorated with intricate Baroque or antique traditional engravings. The main piece is centered with a large black gemstone, surrounded by smaller black stones in the side units. The belt is worn over traditional clothing (the Abaya or Taqsheeta), which are wide and loose. The belt has black cords tied at the back to accentuate the woman's figure and give a more beautiful shape to the Abaya.
