The electronic muffler, or electronic barrel, is a part installed in the vehicle's exhaust system. This muffler allows adjusting the exhaust sound, as it can be opened or closed to control the volume level and improve engine performance. When opened, the exhaust sound increases and the engine power boosts, while when closed, the exhaust sound returns to normal. More specifically: Its function: The electronic muffler allows switching the exhaust sound from a quiet mode to a sportier, more powerful sound, and vice versa. Working mechanism: The electronic muffler relies on an electronic control system, often a vacuum system (air suction). Features: Improving engine performance and increasing its power.
