Yazid bin Amr bin Khawailid (Al-Saqq) bin Nafil bin Amr Al-Kilabi. An pre-Islamic knight, one of the poets. He has stories.
He sought help (Mardas bin Abi Aamer) against a group of Kilab who stole from him a hundred camels, so he rode until he took the camels and returned them to him, and Mardas said about him, from verses:
Yazid bin Amr is better than a strong camel...
Pulling it, when the winds roar, and his head was cut off on (Dhi Nujab) day and he was captured, Jareer pointed to that more than once, he said:
And we cut off the head of Ibn Khawailid... Yazid, and we soaked Ubaida in blood.
And from Yazid's poetry:
Oh, I inform you, Banu Tamim...
With a sign they love not food!
And he was lame, stabbed by (Al-Amrad), which made him lame.
And what is said about turning his grandfather with the Saqq:
That he made food for his people during the season at Ukaz,
Then a wind blew dust into it, so he cursed it, and he was struck by a (Saqqah) and died!
