The investigation of Muhammad Aziz Shamsjam The comprehensive collection of issues for Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah: This is a valuable collection that contains a number of letters and fatwas of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah that have not been published before. The researcher extracted them from manuscript collections in many libraries. A wonderful Saudi edition, verified and with the hadiths arranged in nine volumes. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether. To proceed, this is a third collection of "Jami' al-Masail" containing 28 letters and fatwas of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, which were not published within "Majmou' al-Fatawa" (Riyadh edition). I have extracted them from various manuscript collections, which will be described later, and I found some of them among printed collections, but I did not know their original manuscripts. So I wanted to include them in the collection to be accessible to readers and researchers, and to complement "Majmou' al-Fatawa." This collection, like the previous two, contains letters and fatwas on various topics, and within it are discussions and benefits not found in the Sheikh's other works. Sometimes he digresses into explaining verses, clarifying statements contained therein, and favoring some over others. He also expands on language vocabulary and grammar rules, criticizes the opinions of some linguists and grammarians, as he did, for example, in his discussion of the letter "L" (in the nineteenth letter) and the word "Al-Asbat" (in the sixteenth letter). Some of the issues include discussions with theologians and philosophers, refutations of their doubts and objections (see numbers 6, 7), and a call to Shiites and visitors of graves to follow the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah, and an explanation of what the righteous predecessors were upon (number 3). And other benefits and investigations that distinguished Sheikh's writings and works, which only become apparent to those who read, contemplate, and extract the treasures within.
