Product description

To the virtue Sheikh, the scholar Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah forgive him and his parents and Muslims. A brief explanation of Al-Tahrir | Ibn Al-Najjar Al-Hanbali | Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen Al-Tahrir Brief: A book in the science of Usul al-Fiqh according to the Hanafi school of Imam Ahmad, by the scholar Sheikh Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al-Futouhi, known as Ibn Al-Najjar, who died in 972 AH – may Allah have mercy on him. It is a commentary on the book by the author, Al-Kawkab Al-Muneer, called Mukhtasar Al-Tahrir, which is a summary of the book Tahrir Al-Manqul and Tahdhib Al-Ilm Al-Usul by Qadi Alauddin Ali bin Sulaiman bin Ahmad Al-Mardawi. The book is comprehensive of issues of Usul al-Fiqh, including its rules, principles, and categories. Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen said: Among the best writings in Usul al-Fiqh – indeed, the most comprehensive – is called partially: Ikhtisar Al-Tahrir by Al-Futouhi. This book, the summary, is essentially a distillation of what the Usul scholars have said in the science of Usul al-Fiqh, and it can be memorized by heart, but it needs a scholar to explain its meaning to the student. So, whoever memorizes it by heart understands it as an Usuli in the true sense, and this is among the most comprehensive I have seen in its brevity.
