It contains their news and stances regarding enjoining good and forbidding evil, so that they may serve as role models and examples, motivating them to speak the clear truth and renew the signs of religion through sincere advice to Allah, His Messenger, and His Book, and to the nation and all Muslims. The compiler did not invent stories or create situations, but all are real, among the best and most truthful stories, scattered and dispersed in the depths of hundreds of books far beyond the reach of most people. Then came an expert in arranging bouquets of flowers, gathering their scattered parts, and uniting them, pouring into them his own longing, and his transparent spirit. Thus, “Zahr Al-Basatin” was born, and he dedicated it to his nation, which is most in need of it.
