And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Allah sent him as a glad tidings and a warner, calling to Him by His permission, and a shining lamp. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and may He grant them abundant peace. As for what follows: This is the second edition of the book "Al-Sunnah" by Abu Bakr Al Khalil (311 AH), and it is the tenth book in the series of books on Sunnah and creed. I have received notifications and corrections to the first edition from some sincere and loving brothers, may Allah reward them well, and may He not deprive them of the reward of spreading knowledge. I benefited greatly from those notifications and corrections in this edition, then I re-examined and compared the manuscript to ensure accuracy of the text; I corrected what Allah enabled me to correct. All praise is due to Allah, who guided me to this, and my success is only from Allah. I rely on Him, and He is sufficient for me and the best disposer of affairs.
