Introduction
Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon whom there is no prophet after him. As for what follows.
Indeed, the noble Shariah came with the greatest system in this life, and since the dawn of Islam and the mission of the master of mankind, peace and blessings be upon him, it has been blessed and happy under Islam and its great objectives.
Allah legislated the laws so that people worship Him, unify Him, and fear Him. He sent the prophets as mercy to the worlds to deliver His religion and spread it.
And prayer is one of the pillars of Islam, and it has a great status in the hearts of the people of Islam. It is a distinctive sign between disbelief, hypocrisy, Islam, and faith.
People were commanded to perform it in the houses of Allah, so they called for gathering for it. The companions and Allah differed on how that should be done.
In informing about the entering of its time and gathering for it, some said: Take a bell like the bell of the Christians, and some said: Rather, a horn like the ram of the Jews.
The Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, did not like all that (1), out of a desire to oppose those who persisted in their misguidance.
Then came the truthful vision, like the dawn, giving glad tidings. (1) Sunan Abi Dawood (498).
