The poetry collection of Abu Nawas

Diwan Abu Nuwas Al-Hassan bin Hani' bin Abdul Al-Awwal Al-Madhaji known as Abu Nuwas (198 AH) Arab poet considered one of the most famous poets of the Abbasid era. Al-Jahiz said: I have not seen a man more knowledgeable of language nor more eloquent in dialect than Abu Nuwas. And Abu Ubaidah said: Abu Nuwas was to the moderns what Imru' al-Qais was to the ancient. And Kalthum Al-Atabi said: If Abu Nuwas had lived during the Jahiliyyah, no one would have surpassed him. And Imam Al-Shafi'i said: If it were not for Abu Nuwas's frivolity, I would have taken knowledge from him.
