Authored by Ahmed Al-Zouman Introduction In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate Among the issues that are greatly needed in our time is the prostration of the calamity (Qunoot al-Nazila) and the clarification of its rulings. Due to the connection of the rulings of Qunoot al-Nazila with the Qunoot of Witr and Fajr, I saw fit to add their rulings, following the example of previous scholars who specialized in compilations on Qunoot, such as the Hafidh Abu Al-Qasim Abdul Rahman ibn Mandah, and Hafidh Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al-Hakim Al-Nisaburi, and Hafidh Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Ali, known as Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi. I did not come across these books, so I dedicated a special compilation to Qunoot, exerting my effort to trace and study everything I found from authentic hadiths of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the actions of the companions, may Allah be pleased with them. As for the actions of the Tabi'in and those who came after them, I mention them when attributing the opinion to them in the research issues to verify the correctness of the attribution of the opinion. I divided the book into four chapters: - A chapter on the rulings of Qunoot of Witr - A chapter on the rulings of Qunoot of the calamity (Nazila) - A chapter on the rulings of Qunoot in obligatory prayers other than the Nazila - A chapter on the issues common to all types of Qunoot I wrote this to fulfill my need to explore this chapter and to facilitate my brothers, students of knowledge, imams of mosques, and others who do not have the opportunity to study the issues of Qunoot. I named it "Lifting the Veil from the Rulings of Qunoot." My methodology in the research is explained in the introduction to the book "The Authentic Divorce and the Innovated Divorce," so I will not repeat it here. However, what should be noted in this book is that when attributing opinions to the Salaf regarding the issues common to all types of Qunoot, you may not find a supported text for each issue, due to the different types of Qunoot and the schools of the four Imams. May Allah reward my brothers, the students of knowledge, who assisted me in this research through review and guidance. I especially mention my brother, Sheikh Suleiman bin Saleh Al-Rubaian, supervisor of the printing. May Allah rectify his wife and offspring for him, bless his time.
